Jenkins•Peer’s work on this planning initiative for UNC Pembroke involves all aspects of the University’s athletic programs including collegiate baseball, soccer, softball, tennis, and golf; intramural sports and recreation fields; and support buildings including field houses, restrooms, concessions, storage, and grounds maintenance.
The goal of this study is to create a ‘sense of place’ that clearly communicates the unique identity of UNCP Athletics. Focus is on providing a strong connection to the campus with an Athletic Village feel, while ensuring the best and most efficient use of space.
